AutoScribe (MutuoHealth) – Building a Scalable Lead Generation Engine for AI B2B MedTech SaaS

Starting Point

AutoScribe is an AI-powered digital scribe assistant that transcribes clinical conversations in real time, helping healthcare professionals reduce documentation time and focus more on patient care. When we began our collaboration, AutoScribe had no prior marketing infrastructure in place — only a few test users and no active lead generation processes.

Our initial goal was to design a full-funnel strategy from scratch that would generate qualified B2B leads and drive free trial sign-ups among Canadian healthcare professionals.

Challenges

What We Achieved

1. Built From the Ground Up

We established all necessary advertising infrastructure, including Google Ads and Meta platforms, a new landing page, Google Analytics, and custom conversion tracking setups.

2. Multi-Channel Strategy

We launched and optimized campaigns across four major acquisition channels:

  • LinkedIn Ads – Focused on professional targeting by job title and sector.

  • Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) – For broader reach and remarketing.

  • Google Ads – Focused on targeted keyword campaigns for trial sign-ups.

  • Cold Emailing – Direct outreach to over 18,000 Canadian GPs and clinic owners.

3. Stable & Scalable Lead Generation Engine

  • Built a predictable and scalable lead generation system.
  • Achieved a strong CAC while maintaining an excellent lead-to-trial conversion rate, which proved the high intent and quality of the leads.
  • Early user data showed strong customer retention and long LTV, especially among users acquired through optimized Meta and Google campaigns.

Results in Numbers

  • Attracted over 3500 new B2B leads over the course of our collaboration.
  • Achieved an average CAC of approximately $150 per free trial.
  • Thanks to consistent growth and a highly targeted acquisition strategy, AutoScribe gained significant market traction and was acquired by Healwell AI just over 18 months after launching active marketing efforts.

By starting from zero and building a performance marketing engine tailored to B2B healthcare professionals, we enabled AutoScribe to go from a test product to a scalable lead-generating SaaS platform.
